Conscious Box

I have mixed feelings about Conscious Box this month. They have amazing customer service, but I don't know how I feel about their boxes. I think I would like them better if the items were a larger more deluxe sample size, so I could really try the product. I would love to be able to use it for two or three days to see if I really like the product. I know that would cut down on the amount of samples, and I am fine with that. I do know there are people who like a lot of little samples, so I know you can not please everyone. Conscious Box is a nice box that is delivered monthly. You can get your box in Classic (that is the one I got), Vegan, and Gluten free. They do give you good options. You can sign up for a monthly subscription for $19.95 that includes free shipping. There is a three month option for $56.85 that also has free shipping. Then there is a six month option for $107.70 with free shipping. Lastly there is the yearly option, it is $203.40 and you guessed it free shipping. You can give your opinion on the boxes and the items inside to earn points. You do that right on the Conscious Box website. The points can be used to purchase items in the store on their web site. There you are able to purchase the products you received in your boxes. I only paid $7.95 for this box, and that was for shipping. I honestly feel if I had paid $19.95 I would have been irritated. I do not feel this box was worth $19.95, but for $7.95 I feel I do get to see different things. So what I am saying if you want to try this box go ahead just try to get it for the shipping price and if you like it great please sign up for a monthly subscription, but if you are not wowed then even at $7.95 you still got some new things Conscious Box . These are baked organic corn snacks ahaped like dinosaurus. They are chedder cheese flavor.  My son has tried these from another box, and loves them so I was happy to see them in this box. He was to...lol

 I love anything cinnamon raisin so this will be a bed time snack. It is a soft baked fiber bar by GNU foods.

 This is to clean your water bottles, Travel mugs, or Other hard to clean drinking vessels. The package says you fill what you want to clean with warm water.  Add one cleaning tablet. Let sit 5 mins. for tablet to dissolve, shake to mix. Let stand 10 more mins. Then discard solution and rinse bottle. Sounds easy enough.

 These are Crum Creek's soy bite mini bread sticks. They are Vegan, Kosher, and GMO free. The package says they are healthy, high in protein, and low in carbs. They are available in Everything, Sesame, Onion, Rosemary, and Garlic flavors

This is Honest Company shampoo and body wash. I was happy to see this because I love the Honest Company but with this small sample there is no way I can tell if I am going to like it or not.

 This is from Eat Green Tea.com It says to sprinkle on top of just about anything you eat, and you will have sustained energy all day. One bag is equal to antioxidants in 30 cups of brewed tea. I will have to try.            

 Citrus scented dish soap from Life Tree. It is biodegradable and phosphate free. it says it is gentle on the plants and your hands.

 Goddess Garden Organics Tangerine Lavender daily lotion SPF 15. It has 91% organic ingredients. I burn very easy so I am excited to try this and see how it works.

I thought these were gummies but I am wrong there are 5 chewables. The package says 21 fruits plus  L.Acidophilus probiotics taking your daily amountof fruits just got easier. I guess if your not getting the fruit you need these are great.

This is a two pack from Seventh Generation one side is natural skin serum and the other side is natural body lotion. I am always looking for a new body lotion.

    

 This is hard to see sorry. It is gotu kola stem cell + chlorella growth factor day cream by Acure. Again the package is very small, so I feel I will not know if it is working well.

 This is vitamin b hydrating gel  facial moisturizer from Lotus Moon. This package is a bit larger so I am looking forward to trying this and feeling if it works.

I got this in another box and I still have no idea what it is supposta do. It supports your body's natural defenses. there is a pamphlet with it and you can check out Allimax.com for more info

Last but not least is a bio bag for pet waste made from plants, vegetable oils, and mater-bi. It is designed to degrade as your dogs poo does it seams like a nice bag. I will use it.

Like I said there was a good bit of stuff in this box, but I would have liked some of the samples to be more than a one time thing. Using it one time is not going to tell me wither I want to purchase the full size product or not.

Stunner of the month...

My new sunglasses got here a little later than usual (thank you government shutdown) but they are here, and they are just as awesome as last months. Again they are something I never would have picked out for myself, but I love them. For those of you who do not know what Stunner of the Month is it is a monthly subscription box that sends you sunglasses or stunners. I just call them sunglasses, because I am in no way cool enough to call them stunners...lol. I was not sure if I wanted to get these because I like to pick my own sunglasses out. Some might not look right, you know what I am saying, but I have really liked the glasses I have gotten.

No tracking number, but I feel like they are on it because the e-mail says if you don't receive your package within 5 days to get in touch with them. Their Customer Service is wonderful. I got these socks and was happy because I love socks. What I did not know is how much I would love these socks. They are simply amazing they are made with bamboo. I do not know a lot about bamboo so I went to the companies web page and found out things like. "Bamboo's natural properties wick moisture away for the skin, keeping feet dry during activity. Bamboo has natural antibodies that fight off bacteria. The best part, Bamboo textile is long and silky, so the socks feel like cashmere on your feet." They really do feel amazing on your feet, and because they are made from a sustainable product it is better for the environment. They also ship in ECO friendly packaging.  I love socks some people say it is a problem. It is not a problem it has just been a search for the sock that does not only feel good but wear well too. What I mean by that is it never fails, you find these great comfy socks, wear it and wash it a few times. Then the holes start, so the socks get thrown away. I have been wearing these and testing them walking around the house on different surfaces, and have not noticed any wear starting yet. I did notice they got softer with washing and wearing. The real test came when I was carrying my one year old into the kitchen. I have to step over the baby gate and onto the kitchen floor. I can not tell you how many times I have almost fallen, and I am now extra careful. I did not notice any slipping with these socks, not to say they are slip resistant but they are great for me.

Nature Box!!!

My Nature Box arrived today with five great snacks. The first was Vanilla Macaroon Granola. It tasted exactly like a vanilla macaroon...delicious. Then there is the Cherry Berry Bonanza it is full of dried cranberries, cherries, and blueberries. It is very sweet and the berries are still plump and delicious not dry, hard, or dusty. There are 2  bags of Mesa Crisps. They are just as yummy as the corn chip from my childhood, but kicked up with flax seed in them. It gives them a great twist. My personal favorite are the Roasted Kettle Kernels they are honey coated toasted corn, and they are amazing...yes I ate both bags by myself. Don't judge until you try it...lol. I did get one snack I was not to happy about I got the Pistachio Power Clusters they are nut squares with almonds, cashews, and  pistachios. I have never liked pistachios so these I am not going to try these, but my husband says they are great. Oh yeah, I do not want to leave out my wonderful welcome bag they sent. It is an extra bag of Cherry Gauche Granola....outstanding that is all I can say about it.

 All of Nature boxes food is carefully sourced and nutritionist approved with no high fructose corn syrup, no partially hydrogenated oils, no artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors, and 0g of trans fats. On a side note the bags are resealable so you don't have to worry about eating a hole bag before it gets stale, but that was not a problem here...lol. It makes it easy to take to work, bring in the car, or toss in a diaper bag.

I did call Customer Service and spoke to Kristen she was beyond helpful I told her I had hoped to be able to pick my own snacks and she informed me they put together the first box or treats but you can customize going forward. I told her I thought everything was great except the Pistachio and could I exchange it. She said she could do better she would give me a credit for the bags. How awesome is that!!!! I could not thank her enough. It seem like I have found another company that has employees that really like what they do. That is the kind of company I want to do business with because if an employee feels valued, I feel the items I receive are going to be better.

All said I love the snacks, I loved the amazing customer service (Thanks again Kristen), and I loved the price. Nature Box has become one of my favorite Subscription boxes. I got my first bouquet of flowers from The Bouqs.com last Wednesday and I was holding off on this review to see how they did. You know did they turn brown or die quickly. Well let me tell you they keep getting better and better every day I can't believe how amazing they look. I know this is because Bouqs is not like a regular flower company they cut and ship within 5 days of cutting. Where as the other guys can take up to 14 days of cutting. So Bouqs has no wasted flowers. They are located in Ecuador, and the flowers are grown on the side of a volcano, yes I said a volcano  10,000 feet above sea level. They also do something that I love to see any company do they provide healthcare, living wages, childcare, and adult education to their employees. If there is one thing I have come to realize it is that if you have people who feel appreciated and valued by a company it does reflect in the products, because they are proud of what they do. 

There are three different options at The Bouqs.com there is the Regular Bloom you set up what you want, when you want. If you want a delivery every week on Wednesday just to make you feel better. It will be there every Wednesday  The Bouqs company will become a husbands best friend. With the Never Forget option you will never forget another anniversary or birthday ever again. At the beginning of the year enter all dates you may need flowers sent, and two weeks before they are to be sent The Bouqs will send you a reminder asking if you still want to send these flowers...bam...no more dog house.  Then there is the Just Because it is for random deliveries to surprise loved ones with just on click. They sent me a Bouqs to review at no charge and it will not alter my opinion in any way. I can not tell you enough how beautiful it is. Any one would be happy to receive these any time of the year. They have 40 different kinds of flowers and is so worth the $40.00 plus tax there are no other hidden fees like with other companies. There website is so user friendly and I did have trouble with my order so I did e-mail Customer Service. I have never had someone get back to me so quickly and I thought it was just a fluke but no it happened each time I sent them a response. Healthy Surprise

I got my Healthy Surprise box today. The box is natural, vegan, gluten free, soy free, and corn free. They are also big on non GMO's in products. GMO stands for genetically modified organism, and refers to any living organism whose genes have been modified in some way. This began in the 1950's and in the 1980's you could already see the effects of DNA modifications in our food. People feel this is what has lead to the allergies children have now as oppose to 30 years ago. At Healthy Surprise they are all about GMO label being put on the food we eat to better allow us as consumers to choose what we want to eat. In the box I got were some awesome treats and they were all full size items unlike a lot of subscription boxes. The first thing I saw when I opened the box was SeaSnax Premium Roasted Seaweed Snacks. These were not my favorite, but I did try them....Next there was some Toasted Coconut Chips from Dang, and they were dang good. California Snacks had a bag of its Parma Kale in there, since I love baking kale I thought this was delicious. There was something called Choco Nana from Matt's Munchies it is like a chocolate covered banana fruit strip, I really liked this and my one year old loved it. Possibly my favorite was a That's It bar. I got one that had one apple and three apricots in it. The company is called That's it because that is it, just the fruit no added anything. I loved it.The Daily Crave had some Veggie Chips in there, my son loves these so they have been stolen. There was something called  Nori Wrapped Energy Sticks by Gopal's. I have not tried these yet but after the roasted seaweed fiasco I am a bit unsure, but excited to try. I can not believe there are still several more items to get to. There is Snapz Premium Grilled Zucchini Crunch, I have seen these in other boxes but have not tried them yet. There is Hail Mary Orange Rosemary Pecans. I will be saving these to add to my holiday baking. They smell like the holidays they are wonderful. Something I have tried before was the Gogo Squeez Apple Mango Applesauce on the go. These are super good and so easy to take anywhere. Lastly there was Home Free Double Chocolate Chip Cookies they are whole grain, nut free, and gluten free. I look forward to these as well.

Healthy Surprise has Three different box options they are The Starter Box that has 11+ full size snacks and feeds 1-2 people it is $33.00 plus $6.99 for shipping. The next one is The Healthy Box that has 16+ full size snacks and feeds 1-4 people it is $66.00 and free shipping. Then lastly there is the big boy The Large Box it has 27+ full size snacks feeds 2-6 people and is $99.00 with free shipping. Some might say these prices are a bit high but if you have allergies or just want items in the house to snack on that are better for you, this box is great.

 Now on to the customer service. All I have to say is AMAZING. I spoke to a man names Sam several times. Not only did he help me the first time I called, but when I called back he walked me through everything I needed to do. Even when my computer would not cooperate he went above and beyond and said he would e-mail me the information I needed. I eventually figured out to use my computer...lol. When I called back I told Sam how grateful I was for his outstanding Customer Service. I really like Healthy Surprise there website is easy to navigate. There 800 number is right there so if you get jammed up call them and they will help with everything. I really hope you give them a shot. I know you will love them as much as I do. This is such a wonderful monthly service. They send me my razors, deodorant, and pads or tampons which ever is my preference or a mix of both if I want. They have three different packages to choose from there is a $10.00 per month package that is an assortment of  20 maxi pads or tampons. There is a $13.00 that is 20 maxi pads or tampons and three disposable razors. Then there is a $16.00 that has 20 maxi pads or tampons three disposable razors and a deodorant. There are 6 different types of tampons to choice from. You then  can choose how many light, regular, super, or ultra you would like. There is just one pad choice but it is Always which is a leader in the industry and you can choose from regular, long/super, or overnight. There is only one razor choice but it is very nice. The deodorant options are plentiful there are twelve to choose from. There are two Secret, four Dove, two Suave, Two Lady Speed Stick, and two Degree to choose from. Then best of all you can tell them what day of the month you want your package to arrive. This service is wonderful, as someone who shops with a one year old, I want to get in and get out as fast as possible. After getting my groceries, the last thing I want to do is go roam to the other side of a giant store trying to find everything I need hoping the baby does not start crying. So this will be a huge help to me. Another thought, this would be great to send to a daughter at college so it is one thing she does not have to worry about.
